Our recycling starts with our waste hauling efforts, which allow Peña’s customers
to use 96-gallon, blue containers to dispose of items that can be recycled. Those items are hauled to our Materials Recovery Facility, where the items are weighed and sorted to ensure that recyclables do not end up in the landfill.

Recycling Centers Peña’s recycling efforts continue at our two certified recycling centers, where Peña’s buys back California Redemption Value (CRV) items from area residents. Peña’s accepts the following CRV items: Cans Plastic Glass As well as: Metals Cardboard Newspapers

Recycle at one of these centers: 12094 Ave. 408, Cutler (located 1/2 mile west of Cutler Fire Department). Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Driving directions 267 S. E-waste is one of the fasting growing segments of our nation’s waste stream. These items can be recycled so that the materials can be reused, and to keep our landfills free of the potentially hazardous waste that electronics contain. California law designates televisions and monitors as hazardous waste and they cannot be included in municipal waste.
