Recycling Centers
Peña’s Disposal has two certified recycling centers where we buy back California Redemption Value (CRV) items from area residents. For location and hours, go Find Us.
CRV Eligible Items:
- #1 – #7 Plastics
- Aluminum Cans
- Glass
Note: Subject to weight restrictions and other requirements.
Other Acceptable Items:
- Cardboard
- Metals – ferrous and non-ferrous
- Scrap Plastic
Note: Not all items are available for payment.
E-waste
E-waste is one of the fasting growing segments of our nation’s waste stream. Electronics can be recycled so that the materials can be reused, and to keep our landfills free of the potentially hazardous waste that electronics contain. California law designates televisions and monitors as hazardous waste and they cannot be included in municipal waste.
Household Hazardous Waste
Peña’s Disposal has been contracted by Tulare County as a collection facility for recycle only Household Hazardous Waste at its Cutler facility. Hazardous materials are common in most homes and should be disposed of properly to avoid contaminating our environment. Learn about what we accept at Household Hazardous Waste.
